MRI Scans
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a scan that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body. An MRI scanner is a large tube that contains powerful magnets in which patients lie during the scan.
MRI scan is a painless and safe procedure.
MRI scan may not be recommended if you have a cardiac pacemaker, artificial joint or a programmable shunt in the brain.
